The sugar industry in Europe is paving the way to carbon neutrality. In this video Paul Mesters, CEFS President, explains the results the sugar industry has already achieved in reducing GHG emissions and in creating circularity in production.

He looks at how the sector continues to boost its efforts whilst counting on EU decision-makers to provide adequate legal and financial support, not just for sugar producers, but for the entire value chain and local communities that rely on this industry for their welfare.
