This is the 13th annual implementation report of the CSR Code of Conduct signed in 2003 by the European Federation of Trade Unions in the Food, Agriculture and Tourism sectors (EFFAT) and the European Association of Sugar Producers (CEFS).

The EU Sugar Industry CSR Report is adopted through an extensive consultation process, the purpose of which is to report on and explore issues of common interest, as well as to disseminate information on best practices. The report also serves to foster a spirit of collaboration as part of a joint capacity building effort by social partners to adapt to current and emerging challenges for the sector.
